Technology Transition

PARTNERSHIPS

The market potential of regenerative medicine has a large future. The McGowan Institute of Regenerative Medicine has a very diverse program consisting of cell therapy, tissue engineering and medical devices. McGowan is committed to making regenerative therapies available to the public. The research within the institute is not science fiction but instead very real methods for treating disease and repairing diseased or damaged tissue. In fact, over 30% of the research teams are lead by a clinician allowing successful transition when the therapy is ready to move from the bench to the bedside.

Why Partner with McGowan?

Funding of early research is producing clinical applications and therapies that show commercial promise. For a young industry, McGowan faculty has profound experience. McGowan offers:

  • Talented personnel in every major disease discipline
  • Decades of experience with the coordinated management of multiple disciplines in regenerative medicine
  • Strong stem cell development capabilities in multiple disease states – including clinical development
  • Imaging and biocomputational modeling designed to support the regenerative medicine mission
  • Artificial organ and biohybrid organ support methodologies for novel drug, cell and tissue delivery and support
