CONTACT Patrick Cantini serves as the Director of Scientific Collaborations for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Director of Technology Transition at the McGowan Institute. As Director of Scientific Collaborations, Patrick works in conjunction with the President of UPMC’s International and Commercial Services Division to develop the scientific vision and strategy for its research collaborations. Patrick also focuses his efforts on coordinating a series of investments in infrastructure, people, and seed funding to build global centers of research excellence within the region of Southwestern Pennsylvania.
