Announcing the 4th Annual Regenerative Medicine Summer School.
To provide national and regional students with a week-long didactic and experiential learning experience addressing the science and engineering related to the multidisciplinary field of regenerative medicine.
Undergraduates, enrolled in a science or engineering program that will have completed their 3rd year of study; exceptional candidates who will have completed their 2nd year of undergraduate study will be considered.

Students will be provided accommodations in a University of Pittsburgh dormitory for the week. Please plan to arrive on June 4th and depart on June 10th.
$500 includes room, board, and select social and networking events
Combination of lecture and hands-on laboratory activities, addressing:
- Review of Laboratory Basics
- Tissue Engineering
- Cell-Based Therapies
- Medical Devices
- Clinical Translation and Commercialization
- Select social, networking and career counseling activities
Applications for the 2017 Regenerative Medicine Summer School will be accepted starting December 1, 2016. The deadline for submitting the application and all required documentation is March 1, 2017. Applicants will be notified by April 1st (via email) if they are selected as a final candidate. At that time, additional information and forms will be required to complete the application process. Final admission decisions will be made by April 15, 2017 and accepted students will be notified by letter.
