Dr. Youzhong Yuan is currently a Research Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine.
He received he Master’s of Medicine at the Secondary Military Medical University in Shanghai, China in Hematology and then went on to receive he Ph.D from Fudan University in Shanghai, China in Molecular Genetics.
During his post –graduate studies Dr Yuan worked within the Chemistry department at Fudan University in Shanghai, China, did research in Molecular Medicine at the Scripps Research Institute, in La Jolla, USA and worked in Stem Cell Biology at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine.
Dr. Youzhong Yuan’s past positions included a Resident Physician and a Attending Physician at Shanghai Hospital, in Shanghai, China, and prior to his position as a Research Assistant Professor, Dr. Yuan was a Research Associate in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine.
