Dr. Xiao-Ming Yin currently holds several positions at the University of Pittsburgh , School of Medicine which include; Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology, Member of the Comprehensive Cancer Center and member of the Biomedical Graduate Program and Associate Director, Division of Molecular Diagnostics in the Department of Pathology at Presbyterian-Shadyside Hospital. He is also a visiting Professor at Shanghai Medical College at Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
Dr. Yin received his Ph.D. in Immunology at the University of Texas at the Southwestern Medical Center. He is a member of the American Society for Investigative Pathology, Association of Molecular Pathology, the Academy of Clinical Laboratory for Physicians and Scientists and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases. He is currently on the University Senate Budget Policies Committee at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Xiao-Ming Yin’s current Research intersets consists of Moleular mechanisms of cell and cell protection (apoptosis, autophagy and oncosis), and the Role of cell death and cell protection in cancer biology and tissue injury, pathogenesis and clical therapeutics.
