Beatrice M. Riviere, M.S, Ph.D.

Dr. Beatrice Riviere is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Pittsburgh. She was previously a Post-Doctoral Fellow and a Research Assistant at the Texas Institute for Computational and Applied Mathematics at the University of Texas in Austin. Dr. Riviere was also a Teaching Assistant at the University of Texas and at Pennsylvania State University.

She received her Master’s Degree in Mathematics at Pennsylvania State University, and then continued her education at the University of Texas where she received her degree in Computational and Applied Mathematics. Dr. Riviere has been involved in many Professorial Activities as well as teaching Graduate Courses which included:

  • Numerical Methods in Scientific Computing
  • Advanced Scientific Computing
  • Numerical Solutions

Over the past several years, Dr. Beatrice Riviere has produced many Publications.
