Dr. James Post holds several positions within and around the Pittsburgh area. His positions include; Medical Staff at St. Francis Medical Center, the Children's Institute and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh-School of Medicine, Professor at Drexel University-College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, a Primate Consultant at the Pittsburgh Zoo, part of the Clinical Faculty at Slippery Rock University, an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University, a Lecturer at Chatham College and President and Scientific Director at Allegheny-Singer Research Institute.
Dr. Post received his M.D. from the University of Florida and went on to receive his Ph.D from the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Human Genetics-School of Public Health. He is also currently Commander at the 2290th US Army Hospital in Washington, D.C. Dr. James Post is an Active Member of the Association for Research in Otolaryngology and a member of the Laser Safety Committee at Allegheny General Hospital.
Previously, Dr. Post held several positions at the Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh which include; Staff Otolaryngologist, Director of Clinical Services in the Department of Pediatric and also Co-Director in the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology. He was also a Fellow, Instructor and Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh-School of Medicine and was an Instructor at Harvard Medical School.
