Dr. Zolton Oltvai is presently an Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine, a Clinical Pathologist and an Assistant Director of the Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory at the University of Pittsburgh.
He received his M.D from Semmelweiss Medical University in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Oltvai was previously an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Section Head in Molecular Pathology at Northwestern University in the Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. He was also a Clinical Pathologist, Assistant Director in the Clinical Hemostasis Laboratory and Director in the Diagnostic Molecular Biology Laboratory at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.
Dr. Oltvai is a member of the Department of Pathology Residency Committee and a MetaCyc Advisory Committee member.
