Dr. G. Bard Ermentrout is currently a Professor of Mathematics, Adjunct Professor of Neurobiology at the University of Pittsburgh and a Distinguished University Professor of Computational Biology.

Dr. Ermentrout received his Ph.D in Biophysics and Theoretical Biology from the University of Chicago.

He is interested in the applications of nonlinear dynamics to biological problems such as neural rhythms and the spatiotemporal patterns of the cytoskeleton.
