Roger S. Day, M.A., Sc.D
Dr. Roger Day is currently an a Affiliated faculty member at the University of Pittsburgh Molecular Medicine Institute, a core bioinformatics training faculty member and a member of the informatics training program at the University of Pittsburgh-Center for Biomedical Informatics and also an Associate Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health in the Department of Biostatistics. Dr. Day received his M.A in Mathematics from Wesleyan University in Wesleyan, Massachusetts. And then went on to receive his Sc.D in Biostatistics at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.
He is a member of the Doctoral Committee for several people for the Department of Epidemiology. Dr. Roger Day was previously a faculty member of Keck Center for Computational Biology in Pittsburgh. The Director of Biostatistics for the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics for the Graduate School of Public Health- Department of Biostatistics, was also a Consultant for both the School of Public Health in the Biostatistics Consulting Laboratory and in the Department of Population Sciences at Harvard University.
