Ipsita Banerjee, PhD

Dr. Ipsita Banerjee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Pittsburgh. 
 
Dr. Banerjee earned her BChE from Jadavpur University in Calcutta, India.  She then received her MS from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India.  She achieved her PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University, from which she won the University and Bevier Fellowship for Excellence in Graduate Research.  She is a Proposal Reviewer for Biomedical Engineering Panel and a Journal Reviewer for Journal of Biotechnology.
