Dr. Jeffrey Carpenter is the Professor and Chairman, Department of Surgery, and Vice President, Perioperative Services, Cooper Medical School of Rowan University in Camden, New Jersey. Dr. Carpenter attended medical school at Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, Connecticut, and completed an internship, his residency, and a fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Carpenter’s interests include abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, carotid arterial disease, peripheral vascular disease, and endovascular surgery. He is currently the principal investigator of the following grants and research activities:

Gore: FREEDOM: GORE Flow Reversal System and GORE Embolic Filter Extension Study for the Ongoing Collection of Patient Outcomes
