Work:
Neural circuit analysis, neural computation.
Research Description:
I apply dynamical systems to the analysis of circuitry
in the nervous system. I am particularly interested
in the possible roles of spatio-temporal patterns in
neural computation. I study the onset of waves and
synchrony in satially distributed networks of neurons
and how they respond to inputs and other manipulations.
