Neurochemical and electrophysiological studies of the neurobiology
of addiction.
Research Description:
Dr. Bradberry's primary research interest is to utilize animal
models relevant to human patterns of drug use to understand the
addictive properties of drugs of abuse. Projects include the
study of the impact of chronic cocaine self-administration on
cognition and cortical/subcortical interactions as well as neurochemical
studies of the neurobiology of impulsivity and alcoholism.
