Cultured neuron network, spatiotemporal pattern of neural activity.

Research Description:
We are interested in how spatiotemporal patterns of activity shape and reshape neuronal circuits. We study cultured neurons using a combination of techniques including gene manipulation, patch-clamp recording and imaging.  We also develop novel electrophysiological and optical methods in the in vitro setting.
