The Eighth Annual Meeting of the
Midwest Tissue Engineering Consortium
April 3-4, 2009
Hosted by the University of Pittsburgh

The 8th Midwest Tissue Engineering Consortium (MTEC) conference will be hosted by the University of Pittsburgh and will be held April 3-4, 2009. The conference is intended to showcase recent scientific advances in Regenerative Medicine and will cover the wide range of topics that define the interdisciplinary field of Tissue Engineering.
Similar to previous MTEC meeting formats, the majority of papers and posters will be presented by graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and junior faculty conducting tissue engineering work at the many universities within the Midwest region. This meeting will also feature talks by leading scientists involved in MTEC and is a great venue for networking, developing collaborations, and learning about the latest breakthroughs in the field.
We are certain this is going to be an exciting and productive meeting and look forward to you or your colleagues joining us in Pittsburgh and helping to contribute to advancing tissue engineering.
