Production of Scaffold Materials with Customized Shapes

Hydrated sheets of extracellular matrix (ECM) can be layered over molds and vacuum pressed bond the sheets together.  Use of vacuum pressing allows the creation of more complex 3D forms such as tubes and other more complex shapes.   In addition to simply producing a specific shape and form, the multilaminating process increases the strength of the device as more sheets are bonded together.
