    Progress

  • In animal models, we have used adipose-derived stem cells to repair defects in soft tissue, muscle, and bone. In a rat model of nerve injury, adipose-derived stem cells regenerated the sciatic nerve and restored hind leg mobility.

  • We anticipate beginning clinical trials of adipose stem-cell based treatments within three years.
